This hostel was fine. PERFECT location, never more than a 20-30 minute walk from anywhere, quick 5 minute walk to the metro. All of the rooms are ensuite and there were common bathrooms with extra stalls and showers. The bar area was fun, but the rest of it had no ambiance at all. It was still somewhat hot in the hostel even though it was cool outside, but I expect this won't be a problem in late fall/winter. Breakfast is a ripoff--go to the supermarket across the street.

I loved Luka's! It was a little far from town/the better beaches but definitely manageable. It was one of the more fun hostels I have ever stayed in! The staff was amazing, so helpful and always willing to join the party. It was my birthday while we were there and they gave me a free bottle of alcohol as a gift! Hvar itself was amazing, dreaming of going back and would definitely stay at Luka's Lodge again!

Apinelo was great! didn't love that reception wasn't 24, and the rooms don't lock, but overall felt pretty safe. location was perfect, very near the port and the old town. Staff was amazing! super accommodating about helping you and letting you use the facilities the day you check out. Free computers to use. It's a small place without a common room so wasn't the most social but for my purposes it was great!

Great hostel. Stayed in a four-bed all female room and it was spacious with big lockers, an ensuite bathroom, and even a little table and chairs. Only about a fifteen minute walk from the city center. The staff was helpful, printed a few boarding passes for me and pointed me to the supermarket next door instead of selling me overpriced toiletries. The bar was really fun and they give you a free welcome drink! Great value.

This hostel is a trek, about 45 minutes walk, from the city center. ALSO, THERE ARE NO FREE LOCKERS. THIS IS NOT ADVERTISED BY THE HOSTEL. The only lockers were in the lobby and you had to pay to use them, so everyone's stuff was out, which made me very uncomfortable. It was clean and the ensuite bathroom was nice. However, we booked a six bed room and were put in a seven bed room. When I complained the staff gave me a refund of about 7%. It was nice and clean but way too expensive to be so far.
