Gîte la Montagne is located in the heart of the woods, 5 minutes from the centre of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The hostel offers shared accommodation with free parking and a large green area. There is also a kitchen with all utensils. Gîte la Montagne - Terms & Conditions: Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay. Check in from 17:00 to 24:00 . Check out before 11:00 . Payment upon arrival by cash only. Taxes included. General: 24 hour Reception. No curfew.

For the cheapest option I could find in Chamonix I was very happy with my stay! Sure it’s a lil packed but that’s what you get and it’s a fun experience. You’re not going to go to Chamonix and expect to pay cheap for a bed and not be a lil squished. Also very clean and I was very happy with the showers. Definitely recommend :)

The proximity to the Flegere tram is great. Please note that if you travel alone you may be assigned to a bed/ mattress for two. I was with a friend so the communal room and the shared mattress was okay. Please note- the fee paid on this site does not count toward the 25 euro a night cost. That was a rude awakening when we arrived.
