Art and culture are ever-present in the hostel; the building is a former music academy next to which the Musée des Beaux-Arts can be found. The ground floor rooms are decorated with magnificent tapestries.

Tournai is town that benefits from being small with all the facilities of a large town. The town centre, attractions, shops, buses, station etc. are all 20 minutes on foot from the hostel (just a 3 minute walk to the Grand Place!). Doesn't that sound good?

Check-in between 3.30pm and 8pm as reception is closed at 8pm

Barely slept. Very uncomfortable bed and no air conditioning so room boiling hot. However, shower in room was a great bonus and staff were helpful. Would stay again but would bring my own pillow and sleeping bag.
