The Farrington Inn is a small guest house just west of downtown in the student part of Boston near Harvard, Boston University and Boston College. We are located on the Boston Subway(Metro), 2 miles from Fenway Park and 4 miles from the downtown area.
Perfect for the younger traveler, we are steps away from fun bars, restaurants and interesting local shops.
Our rooms are basic, clean and affordable. We pride ourselves on offering our guests an alternative to the expensive hotels downtown that often reach prices in excess of $500.
Our rooms are generally furnished with double beds a small dresser and a small desk. We have parking onsite in our lot behind our building and is generally $10 per day. We provide professionally cleaned sheets and towels in the room as well soap, shampoo, hair dryers and irons at the desk per request. Guest staying 5+days will generally be given a room with a kitchenette or at-least kitchen access as take out food can be a bit pricey.

This was the WORST HOSTEL I’ve ever stayed in my life. I’ve travelled around the world and never have I stayed somewhere so disgusting. There was BLACK MOLD in the bathroom sink and shower. The room door doesn’t lock from the inside and the room smells really badly. I felt extremely unsafe as a woman traveling alone. I’ve never written a bad review for a hostel before, but I have to warn y’all: DO NOT STAY HERE.

You get what you pay… don‘t expect the cleanest, most comfortable place for this price. Boston is expensive, so this price doesn‘t buy you a lot.

DO NOT STAY HERE. If we hadn’t arrived so late, we would have checked out immediately. Sadly, we had to wait until morning and find alternative accomodation. We got a full refund and the staff were very friendly, to be fair. HOWEVER, there was black mould in the bathroom, MONTHS worth of other peoples hair clogging the shower drain to the point where there was a film of water on the bottom just sitting there stagnant. There was no soap, lots of things were broken. APPALLING, DON’T STAY.
