The easiest and most economical way to get to El Misti Suites from both airports and bus station is by taking the Premium buses (frescão) that leave constantly from both places. Just ask to get off at Rua Santa Clara, in Copacabana, take a taxi or even walk a few blocks.

This was not a great hostel, I would not recommend staying here. Water on the floor at the nondescript entrance, zero staff as far as I could tell, and the toilet did not flush. The wifi worked well and the location was convenient for the price.

We checked into the hostel, never saw a single other person staying there. Manager checked us in then we could not find him after. No staff around at all, place was empty no atmosphere. Our room had mold on the walls, whole room felt damp and wet, no pillow cases on the pillows, stained blanket, old water damage everywhere. Tried to switch rooms but could not find a person to ask. We left as soon as we saw the room and never stayed the night.

I spent 3 nights at this place. I choose this hostel because of its location but I have to admit that the staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming.. They made our stay better.
The rooms and the showers were spotless. The price was reasonable . I would recommend this place to my friends
