One block away you can take the bus to go to montebello lakes, chiflon waterfalls, colon lakes, border with Guatemala, etc. In the same place there is a gas station. The shopping plaza is 800 meters away. There is also a pharmacy three blocks away

idk why this place had a low score because it was perfect! it’s not a hostel, more of an airbnb but 1000% worth the value for the money. we had our own space and was right next to the gas station to the collectivos to head to adventures. the host was very communicative and made sure we made it into the room even at midnight. highly recommend this place to a couple or friends that want to explore comitan!

Our host was super kind and helped us with getting taxis when we needed them. And because our bus from another location was cancelled, he showed great flexibility and helped us out, thank you 🙠The location is far from center, so either you have to walk for an hour in a not so nice neighbourhood or take a taxi (this is very cheap though). For one night this suited us just fine. The shower has very little pressure.

Directions are wrong!
If walking/ taxi go past 'Feliz Pollo' (happy chicken), past gas station, past the Oxxo. Cross the road at Charly's bar. Walk down the side road Perpendicular from the main road. Take the first left and it's 50 meters away opposite another apartment block. It has brown triangular roofs which can be seen from the corner.
The kid in charge was awesome! Very attentive and helpful. Allowed us to leave our bags while we went to the pyramids. Lovely building. Great kitchen. :)
