Screaming Gecko Hostel is in a new much nicer location than before. The location is right smack in the center of town in an amazing colonial mansion. The building is locally know as the nicest mansion in town. Every room has air con. So close to all the bars and restaurants. There is a great roof deck view resto bar where you can sit and watch the sunset. Dont miss the free rum as soon as the sun goes down. No better way to bond with fellow backpackers than to have a few free. drinks and some great food. The hostel even provides group tours and diving for all the guests so the PARTY NEVER STOPS. Associated with HUB Backpackers and Jungle Fever Hostels we have large events on a bi-weekly basis in our Geckos Lair a wild untamed jungle party right on the Dipulao River 500 meters from McDo..
