Wombat's City Hostel Munich Werksviertel

The building is state-of-the-art, the interior design is modern and our rooms have private bathrooms and multifunctional bunk beds. Our new flagship house in the trendy Werksviertel was opened just over a year ago!

Obviously, when you think of Munich, beer, pretzels and lederhosen come to mind. However, the city also has a young, hip and trendy side.
One of the most exciting areas of the city, where this transition can be observed today, is called the 'Werksviertel'.
A former industrial site, it was transformed into a trendy place for bars, discos and arcades, as well as being the focal point of Munich's alternative art scene in the 1990s. This 'futuristic' district now elegantly combines modern living with event venues, gastronomy, sports, shopping in a spacious green setting and excellent access to public transport.

And where exactly is the new Wombat's City Hostel Munich Werksviertel located? In the city's new landmark building, of course. Based on a former potato warehouse, an 86-metre high complex has been built, visible from (almost) everywhere in the city.
This 86-metre high ho(s)tel-tower makes the mix of tradition and modernism visible like nowhere else in the city, and you can even climb it! Right next to it is a climbing gym with access to parts of the facade.

* In case of early departure, cancellation or non-fulfilment of the booking, the amount paid will not be refunded.
* Any extension of this stay requires a new booking for the additional dates, subject to availability and current rates.
