Samesun at San Francisco is just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf, home to our resident sea lion population and Pier 39. Sample some world-famous sourdough bread and fresh seafood, then hop on a cable car to Union Square. Walk back through Chinatown, visiting the home of the fortune cookie and continuing into North Beach, San Francisco's Little Italy, and the home of the Beat Generation. Just 4 (very steep!) blocks away from the hostel lie the twists and turns of Lombard Street. The Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate Bridge are visible from our balcony rooms, so long as the San Francisco fog isn't blocking the view.

Don't forget the colorful murals and taquerias of the Mission District or the shops and bars in the Castro, one of the first gay neighborhoods in the US. Wherever you wander in San Francisco's 7 x 7 square miles, just remember to bring a jacket for ever-changing weather!

Our hostel has spacious dorm and private rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, many with balconies. A rarity in San Francisco, Samesun SF offers free parking in our two on-site garages on a first come, first serve basis for guests.

One of the most beautiful and unique cities in the United States, San Francisco tops many travelers' bucket lists to visit. The Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and Alcatraz Island often come to mind, but strolling through San Francisco's diverse neighborhoods to admire the unique Victorian architecture and world-class dining always ends up as a visitor favorite. First, a Gold Rush boomtown, then the center of the hippie movement of the 1960s, San Francisco is now home to many of the world's leading tech companies.

Samesun San Francisco Conditions and Policies:

Cancellation policy: 1 day (24h) before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 15:00 to 23:00. All guests must be 18+ and have a valid government-issued photo ID.
Check out before 11:00 AM.
24-hour reception.

A valid government photo ID and credit card in your name must be presented upon check in (you can pay with a debit or credit card, but a credit card will be required to keep on file for incidentals).
Payment upon arrival by credit or debit cards only, we are a cashless property. The hostel may pre-authorize your card before your arrival.
All bookings of 6+ people or 7+ nights may be charged a first-night deposit.
Sorry, but no San Francisco locals are allowed to stay with us.

We do not allow pets or emotional support animals. Valid service animals are welcome.
