I miss our little voodoo cabin!! I slept like a log. Really cute hostel with warm atmosphere. The breakfast options were yummy and affordable. Don’t change - I want to return!

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel.
Pros
The staff were courteous, especially Rico. The bed was comfortable, yet the top bank bed was squeaky. So, every time the girl sleeping on it moved, it made noise, which woke me up. The room where I stayed was big, and I particularly liked having a separate shower and a bath, which made it faster to take a shower and get ready.
The vibe was cool, and I was able to connect with other travelers. There’s a flat-screen TV in the living room that you can use. It’s warm and cozy, and Taj Mahal, the cat, is just adorable. Transportation was also so convenient as the streetcar is just less than a minute on foot, and it runs late into the night, too.
Cons
Some guests’ drinks were stolen. I only had juice and tea, so I was fine as the thief/ves was/were only interested in alcoholic beverages.
Some guests were also too noisy coming back late at night, tucking themselves in bed.
The biggest concern for me though was not having functional Wi-Fi in the dorm where I stayed, so to work or even to just go online, I had to go to the main house. And the rooms lacked a desk and a few chairs to sit and work as you can only lie down on the bed. I’m a shorty, and I wasn’t even able to sit straight on it.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and I’d stay here again.
