Patagonia House is a hostel for backpackers made by backpackers. We know, that during your adventure it’s nice to stay at a fun place full of other travelers, yet cozy, calm, clean and with a comfortable bed.
We are located in the downtown of the city and absolutely everything you need is in a walking distance: main square, bus stops, supermarkets, local market, sightseeings, beach etc.
We provide informtation concerning tours, excursions and other activities.
Rooms
Rooms are clean and comfortable, so are the beds.
Showers:
Hot water available 24/7.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, including gas stove and oven. Hot water, tea and coffee are free and available 24 hours.
Common area:
We have spacious dining room and flatscreen TV in case you miss it during your adventure.
Please note :
Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Payment upon arrival by cash
Check in from 13:00.
Check out before 10:00

Great little spot to drop into in Punta Arenas in order to access Patagonia. At the moment it's off season so we were the only travellers in the whole hostel however there are a number of semi permanent residents who are friendly. Cristian the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen facilities and fantastic shower. Bedrooms standard for a dorm. Value for money, not for a party

Had a reservation for two at Patagonia House. As I arrive to check in, a “gentleman†told me he was booked and it was impossible for my friend and I to stay there. He left us stranded in an unknown city more than 10,000 kilometers from home while in was snowing.
Just terrible!!!

Good things: wifi ok, nice girl in reception (didn’t know English though), ok location, lockers in room, not many guests.
Bad: very dirty, not cleaned properly (in corners etc), weird way in, no hot water in shower, many of the hours there is no one in the reception.
