The hostel is located in an ancient convent of the 15th century in the historical centre of Florence in the quarter of Santo Spirito.
The main museums and monuments are within a few minutes walking distance, as is the city's main railway station.
As this is an independent youth hostel there is no age limit and a yha card is not required.

Great location! It is on the other side of the river, so it is not directly in the most tourist crowds, but only 10-20 minute walk to all attractions. Price-wise, perfect. The hostel is safe, there is always someone in the reception, except between 3-6am. That means you gotta be home before 3am or you gotta wait til 6am, because the doors will be locked. I never had a problem with this though. Only downside was showers are closed for two hrs after 11.30am for cleaning so can’t shower that time.

Very nice hostel with good atmosphere and friendly staff. I was traveling alone but met a lot of new people. Hostel was very clean and location was good.

Okay hostel considering how close it is to all the sights and that it's also quite cheep! Stayed here for two nights and that was enough for me. The beds are comfy and the people at the reception were really nice. But like other people here in the reviews have said the rooms are way too warm! Also the bathrooms are quite dirty and not that nice. Also at our room there was some problems with the lockers not working. I would say all together a okay hostel if you don't spend that much time there.
