La Controra Hostel Naples is located 15 minutes’ walk from Certosa di San Martino and is about 20 minutes from the rest of the historic centre. It’s also located very near a metro station, so it’s easy to get all around the city quickly. This hostel’s most popular feature is its very large grassy courtyard as well as their free, highly praised breakfast. We loved staying here, even in a 10 bed dorm we felt all our belongings were secure, easy walking distance to the main food spots etc, and felt safe the entire time even though Naples can be dodgy. The hostel was fantastic and friendly - lots of the volunteers would talk to us and had drinks with us etc. The garden area and bar are brilliant - although I wish the drinks were slightly cheaper. Overall we had a fantastic stay!!

Absolutely STUNNING hostel, the view from the terrace is like nothing I’ve ever seen! Super comfy pillows and nice beds, shower pressure is great (yes that matters lol) lovely staff and is super close to the old town of Matera. Would definitely recommend this stay!!

La Controra Hostel Naples sanoo
Penso che ciò che ci rende veramente diversi è che La Controra è un luogo aperto anche alla gente del posto. Ha un programma che sostiene attività diverse, come eventi di musica, arte e cultura, conferenze per tutti coloro interessati a promuovere la città per uno sviluppo durevole, favorendo in questo modo la comunicazione tra il turista e la gente del posto e offrendo un\'esperienza più incisiva nel conoscere la cultura napoletana.
Il nostro edificio è stato originariamente costruito nel 1600 come monastero, offrendo quindi ampi spazi comuni, un alto livello di sicurezza e un grande giardino interno che è un\'oasi nella nostra cittá sempre affollata indipendentemente dalla stagione.
Come tutti sappiamo, a noi escursionisti piace camminare. A pochi passi da qui si trova il Museo Archeologico (7 minuti), il centro storico (10 minuti) e San Martino (20 minuti). È un po\' difficile consigliare un solo posto, ma il mio preferito è probabilmente il Museo Archeologico.
Diamo il benvenuto a tutti coloro di età compresa tra i 18 e i 30 anni, con uno spirito libero e la voglia di esplorare, alle persone che hanno come passione il viaggio e che godono di un\'intera giornata trascorsa nel centro storico, ma a cui piace anche socializzare e godere di tutti i servizi che offriamo.
Non solo i bambini qui sono i benvenuti, ma abbiamo anche un ingresso facilmente raggiungibile con le biciclette e la sedie a rotelle. L\'ascensore è abbastanza grande per la carrozzina e abbiamo alcune stanze con caratteristiche appositamente studiate per le persone con disabilità.
