Cool place to spent a night. The Hostal os very cool being located in the trees. Wouldn't spendt more than a night there

The hostel seemed more connected to the local community than I expect the lost and found hostel would have been. As a result we had a wonderful tour of a local coffee grower who was friends with our host, our favorite 3 meals from a family restaurant, and good directions to hiking trails. I appreciate the efforts of lost and found for creating those trails. Easy access to the hostel from the bus stop.

Roots Hostel was a hidden jewel in Hornito! Super small, cozy and familiar hostel, with the best vibe and amazing view over the mountains! Close to some hikes and highlights of the area!
Don't expect the cleanest and most comfortable hostel, in the end it's all made of wood (amazing construction), but the atmosphere for sure made it one of the best hostels of my trip so far!
Perfect for someone who wants to rest and recharge energies in the mountains, away from the parties and excess tourism
