My experience in ao hostel was pleasant but not perfect. The room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and had a little walls to provide a little bit privacy. The staff was also friendly. On the other hand the kitchen wasn't really the best one. It only had a few plates and kettles etc and only 2 forks. So that was a little dissapointing. All in all the ao hostel was good and cozy, so would recommend!

The check-in line was super slow. We stayed in a two-person private room bc we read all the reviews about women getting harrassed there. Anyone could get into the hallways without a key. The shower had brown and yellow gunk all over it. The soap smelled and looked like toilet cleaner. Beds were uncomfy and the beddings were awful. The hallways smelled like pee. On our last night the hot water stopped working.

We stayed 3 nights on our interrail trip. + location good: 5-10 min walk to Mestre train station, from there it is easy to get to the main island + super clean, felt like hotel + toilet and shower in the own room + really good hotel breakfast for 8,50â‚¬ + cheap so really worth of money - no bedsheets included, we had our own but possible to rent - laundry machine was broken
