* Mandatory: To check in it is mandatory to present original identification (passport, citizenship or foreigner ID)
*The balconies or terraces of the private rooms are subject to availability.
*Cancellation Policy: You have up to 24 hours before your arrival to cancel o modify with no cost. If you do not report the change before this time or do not show up, we will have to charge your credit card for total price of your reservation.
*Taxes: not included in the rate. The tax is 12% additional to the rate that must be paid by nationals (from Ecuador).
*Small pets (up to 17 kilograms - 34 lbs) are allowed in private rooms only. A maximum of 2 pets per room is allowed. Your stay has an additional cost of 15 USD. Assistance dogs or guide dogs will always be allowed in any of our outlets and are free of charge as long as the owner presents a certificate confirming that their dog is an Assistance or guide dog. A copy of the pet's passport must be presented at check-in. *You must review additional policies, at the time of check-in, regarding the care of your pet during your stay.
*Beds are not pre-assigned. If you come in a group and want to share the same bedroom, you must inform us by e-mail and we will do our best to arrange for you to stay together... this depends on availability... don't forget!
*You must pay the balance of your reservation in USD at the time of Check in. The total in other currencies is informative and varies depending on the exchange rate.
*You can make payments by credit card, debit card or cash (This property may pre-authorize the charge to your card before arrival).
*We have a luggage room at the reception, you can store your items in case you arrive before check-in time or travel after check-out time.

Masaya has everything from the infrastructure point of view. The location, although it's city center, it's nice during the day but at night everything is closed and seems pretty dangerous to be around. I booked this hostel to work remotely, as a Digital Nomad, and the internet was tough! I had to cancel some video calls, work in the kitchen, move to the cowork space... it would be amazing if they could have good wifi! The staff, met some good and some not so good ones. I stayed for 4 nights.

Our private room looked just like the picture and was actually way bigger than I imagined. It faced the street which was kind of loud during the day but very quiet after 10 pm. The hostel itself was clean and the staff were friendly. No kitchen for guest use but they have a $5 meal which we often had for either lunch or dinner. It was quite tasty, filling, and safe for my partner who has a nut allergy. The most comfortable hostel we stayed at in Ecuador.

Such a shame there’s no communal kitchen to use, only downside to my stay here, I actually ended up extending for a few days. The place is huge!! Due to being large it’s hard to find people if you’re solo and want to socialise. I had a 10 bed mixed dorm and only had 2 people in with me mainly, I think because there’s so many rooms! Staff were friendly and helpful, location was convenient.
