Best place to stay in Byron Bay. Bikes, surfboards etc. for free. Great location near to the beach and hostel’s own shuttle buss going straight to the town if needed. Live music and cute garden with lights and cheerful people really made my stay in Byron unforgottable. There was also talent show what wasn’t planned in a timesheet but staff’s made it happen and it was amazing!! So much fun time in Byron Bay Wake up! hostel. Thank you.

Otherwise would've been the perfect value for money hostel but they had some renovation work going on in the common areas. This caused noise, which is not cool when you're eating breakfast or cooking.. After they've finished with the work I can recommend BBR to anyone.

This was my favourite hostel so far! The rooms were amazing and had bathrooms in them with a nice patio and big lockers. It was super easy to meet people and it was a very social place. The facilities were clean and the rooms were cleaned often. Only thing is that it’s about a 30 minute walk into town but they have bike rentals and a shuttle every hour.
