Mount Zion Lodge in Michamvi opened in June 2018. The Lodge is a quiet and peaceful place with Double rooms and private bungalows, restaurant, bar and a fireplace under the stars. You can relax on the various hammocks in the garden.
Michamvi is the place to relax. Is a quiet and neat village right on the waterfront in east Zanzibar, 60 minutes by car from the airport. From the beach you can reach a mangrove forest and see an amazing sunset.
We can provide different tours as Spice tour, Safari blue, a sightseeing in Stone town, a visit to Jozani forest, snorkling and diving and a lot more If you have some other wishes we will do our best to fix it. We can also provide car and motorbike renting.
It's located a five minute walk from a beautiful and quite white beach. If you really want to relax this will be the right place, a great break from the hectic life many people live today. Breakfast of fresh fruit, smoothie, pancakes, bread, egg and coffee or tea are included. We have free Wi-Fi and we arrange tours if you wish.

Mount Zion Lodge provided a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation. First and foremost, the location of Mount Zion Lodge is excellent. Situated in a well-connected area, it offered convenient access to local attractions and amenities. Whether I wanted to explore the nearby beaches or discover the cultural delights of Michamwi, I found the hostel to be a perfect base for my short stay.

lovely place for peace and tranquility, it was off peak when we visited so was very quiet but we saw a bushbaby outside our room which was cool! bit of a walk to the beach and very muddy road but nice breakfast!

Mount Zion Lodge was a really chill spot. Very accommodating and sweet staff. They are also helpful with giving you advice for getting around Michamvi. I would most definitely stay again :)
