We had a fantastic stay here. Although Cotopaxi was closed due to seismic activity there was still other hiking options and the wood fire in the main room was so nice to sit in front of and chill. Don’t be put off by the location, it is easy to flag buses down on the main road to go north or south.

Check in was very confusing, first they brought me to a private room (I had booked a dorm) then I had to move everything again, they also told me at first that breakfast and dinner were included but then they came back and said only breakfast was included. It’s also very cold in the dorms and there doesn’t appear to be any heat.

This was my absolute favorite hostel while traveling through Ecuador! It was a little hidden and not super close to Cotopaxi National Park, but the atmosphere was fantastic. I met tons of other travelers here, and the staff was helpful in organizing trips for us. Plus, the meals were AMAZING. Their extra dinner service is a great value and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Cozy, clean, and fun - highly recommend!
