Located in the heart of Varanasi, Backpacker's Park is a 53-bedded hostel. We have 7, double-bedded private rooms and 9 dorms, with a mix of 4 and 6 bunk beds. Every room/dorm has an attached bathroom. In-house recreational facilities, such as our TV-video game set, Fusball table, and a range of books at your disposal are sure to make you feel at home.
Sitting on Kedar Ghat, the view from Backpacker's Park is that of the holy river Ganga. We also have a travel desk to help you make the best of your time here. On days of chaos, our staff will be more than happy to book tour boat rides for you.
Our fully equipped kitchen is open to all. We have a fridge, induction, microwave and mixer. Breakfast is on us!
All these facilities and our friendly staff, who'll be ready to give you all the information you seek, make our hostel one of it's kind.

One employee wouldn't give me my change and I had to ask his manager to get my money. They also sold me a water bottle with the seal cracked, telling me it was washed and recycled and I would get my money back if I returned the bottle. Gross. Their menu is overpriced when compared to other restaurants in the area.

This hostel is very cheap. the dorm rooms are very basic but clean with AC and there are security lockers. Rooftop view is great but the resteraunt is not operational. The one fenale staff member was excellent, friendly and helpful. The main desk guy is extremely rude and doesn't answer any questions. The atmosphere is definitely lacking, but the location is good to get to banks of the ganga.

Backpackers park, although hard to find, is situated in a good location. You are based a 30 second walk from the river, and only a short walk up the river to the main ghats. The hostel is also near a variety of shops/stalls. I wouldn't have wanted a different location.
Facilities in the hostel were good. The rooms were modern and the bathrooms were very spacious. AC in my particular could be temperamental but overall was fine. The restaurant on the roof offers a great view of the ganga and surrounding are
