The kitchen never had anything clean. beds were made out of pallets, everyone haf back pain, people living in parts of the compound and they claim to have 3 bathrooms all were gross but 2 of them were covered in black mold and rust. employees n people living there would not even use them so you really hve 1 bathroom for everyone! It was the loudest place i have ever been to and all night. It is a small place and they have 3 different musics blairing and the employees are screaming all night

Rather convenient location near El Morro & easy walk to the other sights or buses.
Staff was really friendly & accommodating. No problem there.
In comparison to so many other hostels, La Posada is still in development. "Building the plane while flying." (What I saw may have been "expansion." They were constructing/ adding/ renovating a new room & bathroom in t/cabana.) I was in one of t/ outside rooms and t/ floor was raggedy, dirty indoor/outdoor carpet. & no toilet paper in bathrooms. Ugh.
