A 100 year-old courtyard residence - previously home to a Gujarathi family with origins in the migration of traders (after Ghazni's conquest) from Gujarat to Kozhikode who set down roots in Kozhikode, encouraged by the progressive Zamorin king - renovated with due respect to its context, retaining the rustic ambience.
Design Ashram was started with the aim of setting a cornerstone for a community of like minded individuals to bond, share and brainstorm around a beautiful Peepal tree courtyard.

Definitely not my favorite place. The room was dirty and had horrible smells of mold and pheses. Wouldn’t stay there again but the staff was friendly.

It was one of the best places i stayed , and i am so happy i chose to stay here in the start of my trip.
I also extended for 2 more days .

Stay was comfortable , management personally attended and helped to get experiences in city . Design and culture concept looked flourishing and giving opportunities to young minds
