â€¢ staff entered private room without knocking and then laughed once they closed the door. Not many people staying in the hostel, inexcusable â€¢ private room had outdoor shower with no hot water and couldnâ€™t be used when raining. Had to use the shared showers defeating the purpose of a private bathroom. â€¢given breakfast and offered everything. When checking out were told we had to pay extra for fruit (wasnâ€™t explained on arrival) â€¢left a night early â€¢Overall poor experience

Tuki is a great place to stay, close to the bars and restaurants but far enough away so you don't hear them. Breakfast is very good. Our room was great value, had a little patio, very comfy bed and a private bathroom. There is a huge board when you walk in with places to go but the staff know nothing of the places or how to get there. If there was more information and contact details available this would be first class! But a really lovely place to stay â¤ï¸

I regret to have to leave a negative review because we did not sleep well here. The room was incredibly hot with no fan or window, I requested a fan but none were available. We were in the room right next to the checkin desk so we could hear phone calls being made and people in/out at night. construction right next door that began pounding on our bedroom wall very early. The staff was very nice and helpful to our needs and breakfast was good. We ate at the Mexican place nearby-very good.
