We are Sohla Rooftop Hostel, the newest and hottest beachfront hostel in San Juan Del Sur! You'll find San Juan Del Sur on the southwest coast of Nicaragua, a popular tropical surfing and fishing town. SJDS is one of the most popular cities in Nicaragua, with many nearby pacific beaches that attract surfers, fishermen and ocean-lovers from afar.
A 3-story beach-front hostel with a wide-open roof bar and glass pool, optional AC, hot water, large shared kitchen and multiple areas to socialise with other travellers. 9 rooms, with a mixture of private dorm and shared dorm.
The hostel is walking distance to many local hikes, such as 'Cristo de la Misericordia', 'Tiger Cave' or 'El Faro'. Find local cuisines around the corner from the hostel, and many bars within 1km from your sleeping destination.

Arrived at our hostel in a shared dorm and my bed didn't have any curtains whereas everybody else did. Felt a bit uncomfortable but it was sorted the next day as promised.
We were without a pool / bar for a few days and was contemplating switching hostels but they did fill it up in time for pre drinks at the hostel for Sunday funday.
The place has so much potential, the staff are really nice and the kitchen facilities are the best we've used but feel it lacks atmosphere and comfort.

really lovely hostel with super friendly staff and volunteers. rooftop bar has gorgeous views and the hostel in general has really good vibes. each bed has a plug socket and a fan which is so nice. if you book the cheaper dorm (downstairs) you have to walk up two floors for the shower which is annoying, so the slightly more expensive dorm is very worth it in my opinion

I loved this place, mostly bc of the people! Also the hostel and Pachamama have a lot of cool events which made it so easy to find friends. Perfect if u want a chill vibe, but also loves parties! One of the staff members was really inappropriate to me, but other than that good stafff.
