Friendly staff and amazing location. However, this place is very old and would need some renevotions to be done asap. Showers didn't work properly (was impossible to adjust the water temperature). It was also really cold during the night and I had to sleep with my down jacket, hoodie ja hat on (in March). People were not that talktative comparing to other hostels.

The experience was great in all aspects, cleanliness, security, friendliness of staff and location. However, internet connection sucks! Connection was intermittent, very slow and able to connect for a very few minutes only.

Unfortunately, the shower in the room did not have warm water, there was no wifi in the room, neither were there enough sockets in the right place. I stayed in another hostel in Queenstown before and there they provided drinking water for everyone as you cannot use the tap water…
The kitchen was really dirty, there was dirt where the cutlery was stored, and the dishes were sticky and still has food remains on them.
