Run by Aussies and centrally located in the heart of the centre. Fiesta siesta is a modern hostel located in two Heritage-listed stone Dalmation buildings situated in the famous Diocletian Palace. Where we stand out as the must stay hostel in town is that we offer FREE daily|nightly experiences and unique social events. From the moment you check in, you will realise we are more than a bed for a couple of nights throughout your European adventure. Fiesta Siesta is part of the Split hostel group which includes our sister hostel, Booze & Snooze and Charlies bar, The number 1 and only backpackers' bar in town as stated on tripadvisor! Every night we partner up together so you will be sure to see why we bring the good vibes!


The Hostel

Conveniently located above the famous Charlie's backpackers bar. Fiesta Siesta is newly renovated, We have everything from (two, five, six to eight-bed dorms). Our hostel has separate toilets and showers on every level and air conditioning unit and lockers in every room. The building has also been completely refurbished with all the extras- exposed stone feature walls, hardwood floors, and mosaic bathrooms making your stay all the more enjoyable and comfortable.


Please note Unfortunately WE DO NOT HAVE A KITCHEN But don't worry we still bring the heat, what we lack in facilities we make up for with evening events and the personality of our awesome promo team.


We must warn you though being located in a street bustling with bars in the heart of Split it wont give you the quiet of an Indian meditation garden. If you want a nice cold beer and to meet fellow travellers with a bit of a boogie after your day exploring, we are the hostel for you. If you want to hit the hay at 7:00 pm with a nice book, maybe try our sister hostel 'Booze and Snooze' located 2 minutes away in a quieter street ;)


Also something to remember: we only accept cash for the outstanding balance owing for your stay with us.

Charlies Bar

Charlie's backpackers bar (open till 2am in peak season), is conveniently located below us. Over the years, Charlie's bar has risen up the ranks as a must do experience for travellers in Split. Whether you want to meet other travellers, or mingle with locals, Charlies is the place! With themed nights, happy hour, live sporting events and more, it is pretty hard to leave Charlies without making friends for life. See for yourself at @charliesbarsplit


FYI Charlie's bar outdoor door tables close at midnight and bars in the street close at 2am!!

We know that location makes your experience so you can rest assured we are located in the heart of Split's city centre (the property is within Diocletian Palace). Our hostel is within 1-minute walking distance of the most famous sites and attractions in Split, which include breathtaking cultural and architectural sites, beaches, bars, and cafes. Most importantly, the Adriatic coast is at your doorstep.
