Celtic Tourist Hostel

Celtic Tourist Hostel is located in the heart of Galway City, just off Eyre Square on Queen Street. This cosy small 38 bed hostel is intimate, clean, and friendly. In fact, it's a home away from home. Friendships formed here will last a lifetime.
DUE TO COVID WE WILL NOT OFFER our Continental Breakfast , but use of our self catering kitchen is allowed . In our kitchen we have continental plugs, and free WiFi, and luggage storage also available.
Our International staff are here to make your stay with us happy and memorable and to advise on trips and places to visit.

Perfect location for those breaks away with access to all the local amenities including bars, shops and restaurants with easy access to the surrounding countryside as well.

Famous attractions include the stunning landscape of rugged Connemara, the awesome scenery of the Burren, plus the world famous majestic Cliffs Of Moher, the charm of The Aran Islands,and the intimidating beauty of Heinrichs Boll's Achill Island.

Please note that our Twin rooms are small 3.75m2 and contain 1 set of bunk beds (not a double bed) NOTE: If you want a large room do not book these twin rooms.

Please note that hen parties and stag parties will not be accepted.
This hostel does not accept bookings for under 18's without prior approval from hostel management

Conditions:
Balance due to Celtic Tourist Hostel will be deducted from customers debit/credit card PRIOR to guests arrival.
Please note that Hostel reception & kitchen opens at 08.00 am and closes at 23.00 pm.
Check-in is between 15.00pm and 23.00pm.
NO CHECK-IN CAN BE HONOURED AFTER 23.00PM, unless by prior consent.
Check out is at 10am.
There is a Key Deposit of either €20 or Photo ID; Up-to-Date Drivers Licence, Passport, etc.etc.
These will be held ,securely,in Hostel safe until keys are returned to reception at check out.
Irish PPS Cards NOT Accepted as proof of ID.
Any damage or breaking of rules will be charged to the bookers Credit card.
Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival, but the deposits paid to Hostelworld are non refundable.

Facilities On street disk parking during the day but free from 6.30pm until 8.30am. Indoor car parking 250 meters from hostel for 8 euro per 24 hours.
bicycle hire can be arranged.

Management reserve the right to preauthorize the card used when booking for the first night booked at the time of booking.

**IMPORTANT**
2 night minimum stays at weekends. Bookings made for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are non refundable and non cancellable.

Bookings during the Galway races are non refundable.
Guests will be charged in full after the booking is made for this period. Any bookings made in this period are non refundable and non cancelable.
