We've been welcoming travellers for 20 years, and our laid-back vibe keeps backpackers coming back. With free Wi-Fi throughout the building, a self-catering kitchen, friendly staff, and comfy sofas, you'll feel right at home in our unique British-themed interiors, housed in a revitalized old Student Union building.
Choose from shared dorms, girls-only dorms, or private rooms—all featuring bunk beds with reading lights, USB/electric ports, and lockers (bring your own padlock). Towels are included in private rooms and available for a small fee in dorms. Our 24/7 reception offers discounted tickets on tours and attractions, and our friendly team is always ready to help with any questions. Please note, Clink261 is a cashless hostel, and guests must present a debit/credit card at check-in.
Located in the bustling and creative King's Cross area, Clink261 is close to the famous gig venue 'Water Rats', an open-air swimming pool, and 'Kerb' Street Food Market at Granary Square. The British Museum and Camden Market are just a 25–30-minute walk away, and all of London’s major sights are easily accessible by public transport. Although we don’t have on-site parking, nearby options include the Judd Street NCP Car Park. The location was good but the facilities now very great. I liked that the beds were separated with a wall to add more privacy. However, the place wasn't very clean and there wasn't enough toilets and showers. Also, the vibe was weird cause there were some homeless people living there. Overall, ok for a night but I didn't feel very safe here.

The location is excellent. The hostel has one of the nicest kitchen/lounge areas I have seen. Then the negatives: bathrooms weren’t too tidy or functional. There are not enough showers for girls, and the toilet/shower on my floor didn’t have a proper sink. The dorm itsself was small but tidy. You can open the window, which is nice.

The beds, bathrooms and toilets were very clean, the location was unbeatable (especially if you arrive at St. Pancras or King's Cross!!) and there was a nice big common area and kitchen, even though I didn't really use them. It was fine for a couple of nights, but I will say that the 4 bed female dorms were ridiculously tiny. As in: you can only open your suitcase if you're alone in the room or everyone else stays on their bed.
