We would like to introduce and welcome you to Valley View Backpackers. We will make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible and help you with as much information as we can on the local activities and attractions. This is a place where you can exchange experiences with fellow travellers, and if you would to keep in touch with family and friends, don't despair, we Free WiFi!
Valley View is above all a clean, friendly and homely place where you can relax after an exhausting day of explorations and adventure. Set in a beautiful landscaped garden and tranquil atmosphere, there are hot showers, a nice bed and some good breakfasts on offer whilst you relax on the wooden veranda overlooking the mountain landscape and valley vista below. Perfect to reload your batteries for another day full of great sightings and experiences.

Hostel was great value for money, rooms were comfortable and clean. Joseph the owner was very friendly.
The Wi-Fi kept being turned off even though guests were using it at those times and no one was available when we checked in, we were shown to the wrong room by the cleaner and had to swap rooms later on.

We really enjoyed this location. It felt cozy tucked in the valley and a really good location to drive to Kruger from. We would happily come back!

Really great hostel. Great views across the valley out front. Secure parking, you have a key so you can come and go as you please. The kitchen is very clean and well stocked including fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster. Free tea and coffee.
The owner Joseph is very friendly, great to chat with and full of knowledge.
Graskop is a great base for the many waterfalls, blyde River canyon and viewpoints from the escarpment. Also less than an hour from kruger. Highly recommended
