The hostel is in a pretty good location, near Savassi. My friend and I stayed for only one night, so we did not get to know other people there. Important to say that the hostel does not offer breakfast. Also, showers and bathroons are for both men and women, which made me a bit unease. Overall, staff was pretty nice to us and our room was clean

Different to the photos! Most furniture from photos is missing, it’s tired and needs a refurbishment. The bed is SO LOUD that it wakes everybody up just rolling over.
The hostel is not nice, other hostels for the same money are much better much nicer, not social and more comfortable.
I will not stay again, this for me was a disappointing hostel, the owners should spend more care and money improving the facilities completely.

The Wi-Fi was terrible, there was barely any hot water, the beds were uncomfortable that I couldn’t get a good nights sleep and I woke up with back pain and headache, and Reception closes at midnight. One staff member didn’t give me a door code or a key and when I tried to get in at 1AM, no one responded for over 10 min as I kept pressing the bell. Nearly slept on the streets until owner gave me code and apologized. Volunteer had headphones on acted like nothing happened. No respect for safety.
