We just opened Urban Youth Hostel ! It is a beautiful building completely renovated with original green facade with over 100 years of history.
We have private rooms and shared rooms, all uniquely decorated to detail with vivid colors offer air conditioning and heating. The private rooms are doubles and are equipped with flat screen TV and private bathroom. The dorms are spacious , bright and can accommodate 4 to 10 people. Some dorms have private bathrooms. Each bunk has its electronic locker, plug and personal reading light. Bed linen is included in the price and towels can be rented from reception. On each floor you will find fully equipped and shared baths separated by sex .
We have,self-service washing and drying. Urban Youth Hostel boasts Bar / Restaurant . In the Youth Bar you can have breakfast , enjoy typical Valencian, international cuisine or have a drink before the nightlife of Valencia. Our living room is spacious and comfortable to make you feel at home . In the chill out zone read a book, have a coffee , watch TV or chat with other guests . We have football, board games and a large projector where you can watch football , basketball,soccer and more!
The guest kitchen is very spacious and is fully equipped with the best technology.
On the large terrace on the top floor you can relax after visiting the city and meet backpackers like you. Do not hesitate and come and meet us!

En lineas generales buena experiencia en el hostel, pero los que fuimos a correr el maraton nos llevamos la sorpresa que el espacio de la cocina comun estaba cerrada en la madrugada y nadie pudo tomar desayuno tal como cada uno de nosotros lo tenia programado, los del hostel solo pusieron un cartel en la puerta que el acceso es por la otra puerta y nunca nos habian mostradn donde quedaba la otra puerta, todo estaba cerrado.

The kitchen section is full of cockroaches.
Another subject is the lights in the rooms, on arrival should be explained that there’s a dark light socket to be used then don’t disturb others.

Overall the rooms are nice and big, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed in an ensuite and the bathroom was quite large and the shower was lovely. However, there were some cockroaches in the kitchen, and the kitchen lacked some basic necessities such as an oven. Also, for it being a “youth†hostel, majority of the guests were well past their 50’s, so not quite sure how they call themselves a youth hostel. For the price you pay and the proximity to the beach, it was a good deal, plus the staff were nice.
