Not many options for hostels in iquitos. This place have most things you need but location is really far from everything. Hard to get food and groceries. Always takes forever to explain to Mototaxi where it is. The female owner was really nice and attentive. Good shower, good internet. But just felt like they would rip you off in anyway they can. Laundry was 10soles/kg (Normally 4 or 5) more expansive than nyc. Storing baggage was 10s for the first time. And the second time, the male owner was rude and want

The people are lovely and were so kind to me and made me a lovely breakfast. The room itself was extremely noisy and there were dogs that kept me up all night (not their fault) The bed was not comfortable and the pillow they gave me was like a sheet of paper it was so thin. The balcony was lovely but for the price I felt like there could def be some improvements. I got no sleep whatsoever between the noise the pillow and the very thin sheet they provided as a blanket.

This was a great place to decompress for a couple of days after being in the Amazon. Kitchen was really nice and Karina was friendly and helpful. Only thing was I didn’t find the beds very comfortable and didn’t sleep so well.
