The travel Bug is a Hostel based on Art and Music.
We welcome musicians and all sorts of guests from around the world.
Please come share your stories with us and tell us about your adventures!
We have free breakfast (toast and tea), air conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers and a garden for you to chill out.
It is walking distance from the bus stop(Dulan B), 7-11, beach and the Sugar Factory (famous for its home brewed beer and mead).
We have many instruments such as piano, guitar, ukulele and flute. You can play music or jam with our guests.
If you want go surfing, SUP or river tracing , you can ask our staff for more information.
We have private rooms, female dorms and mix dorm rooms with comfortable beds and blankets.
We also offer gardening and housekeeping work exchange.

1. Check in time : after 2:00 pm.
2. Check out time : before 11:00 am.
3. Cash or credit card payment upon check in.
4. At least 3 days advance notice for free cancellation.
5. Reception opening hours: 8.00am - 11.00pm.
((We accept late night arrivals, just please let us know.))
6. NB!! Keep your volume down after 10:00 pm
7. Pets friendly. But only the private room can take the pet into the room with you.

Great place to stay if you don't mind being far from Taitung. It was just a half hour bus ride from the train station by bus. Dulan is small compared to much of Taiwan and a perfect getaway from the busy cities! The staff was great and helpful, and the community area encouraged socializing. The included breakfast was pretty good - tea, coffee, toast with a variety of spreads, and some fresh fruit.

The staff here was great, friendly and fun. The energy, music, babyfoot and whole ground floor vibe is amazing and what hostels are all about. For Dulan, the location is great, but if visiting Taitung, not the best location.
