La Botella de Leche is the first backpackers Hostel in Tamarindo, in business more than 15 years we offer clean affordable rooms, with AC and private bathrooms.

There is WIFI available throughout the property, a swimming pool for relaxing in the afternoon, an open kitchen, security at night, coffee 24hs free, board games, book exchange ,concierge service.and a beautiful studio where you can do yoga, stretching, work and also study.

The concierge office can help you arrange excursions, transfers or provide with local information, beaches and restaurants.

What a fantastic hostel for those who want a low key stay. They have a strict policy for no loud conversations or music after 11pm which provides a great nights sleep. The staff are very friendly and all those staying there were respectful. They also have good security cameras to watch cars out front. My only issue with them is that they are hard to get in contact with. I tried calling this hostel about 10 times to confirm a catamaran booking and there was never an answer or returned call.
