Well-situated in central area of Hualien, Lazy House is the idal starting point of the trip in the lively city. Only 3-minute walking distance away from Hualien Railway Station, it provides easy access to public transportation, enabling guests to visit the tourist attractions more conveniently.

Offering cozy accommodation with reasonable price, The Rear Backpackers Hostel provides several room types for travellers to choose from. All the rooms are well-decorated, featuring timber floors and fresh linen, duvets and a shared bathroom. Air con is available for use in summer time.

The owners are the ones who don't like the busy life in Taipei, so they moved to Hualien and do their best to make The Rear Backpackers Hostel a perfect place for the people all around the world.

Nice cosy hostel, friendly staff and close to the train station. Everything was fine, no complaints but, I wish they had curtains for the top bunk too.

This hostel has incredibly caring and kind management and staff. They will take care of you, show you around, and help you with your stuff. The rooms are clean as well. The bathrooms need a little work and the security could be better. Lockers are tiny and at night, cars on the road make noise. Otherwise, the location is great, the people are wonderful, and the atmosphere is chill.

Hostel is situated less than five minutes away from train station which is useful for the trip to Taroko Gorge. Free tea and coffee during the day. Really nice chilled vibes around the hostel easy to get chatting to people. staff are super friendly. Great value highly recommend for a night on Hualien
